I am a clinical psychologist (M.Sc.), psychotherapist for children and adolescents (I.T.), yoga and mindfulness trainer for children and teenagers. Above all, I am here for you.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Groningen, the Netherlands – a time that shaped not only my studies but also my passion for social engagement. At the age of 20, I founded the non-profit organization LittleBigDreams e.V., which has been supporting children in Vietnam on their journey toward a self-determined life ever since. We've built sleeping houses, sanitation facilities, classrooms, and much more – and I’ve had the privilege of accompanying over 100 children and the local team through both joyful and very challenging times.
I went on to complete my Master's in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy in Hamburg. Working directly with children has always inspired me and has now been a central part of my life for over nine years. During this time, I’ve gained diverse experience both in Germany and abroad, especially with children and adolescents from a wide range of backgrounds and with various psychological challenges.
In addition to my work in child and adolescent psychiatry, where I served as a primary therapist, I currently support families in an outpatient setting at the Familienzentrum Nord in Hamburg. I work with young people facing conditions such as depression, eating disorders, conduct disorders, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety disorders. I also teach child and adolescent psychotherapy at the Medical School Hamburg and am currently training to become a cognitive behavioral therapist for children and adolescents.
I've also completed two training programs in yoga and mindfulness-based approaches – one of them specifically tailored to working with children and adolescents.
My therapeutic work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and enriched by elements of positive psychology, third-wave CBT approaches, relaxation techniques, and systemic family therapy.
What matters most to me is genuine connection at eye level. You are the expert of your own life – and I bring my knowledge to support you on your path. I work in German or English, whichever you prefer.
